Op. Dr. Murat Yaman is a plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital. Training

Op. Dr. Yaman obtained his medical degree from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine between 1995 and 2003. He then completed his residency in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine in Manisa from 2009 to 2015. Alongside his residency, he completed a basic microsurgery training program at Hacettepe University, earning a certificate from the Reconstructive Microsurgery Association, a nationally recognized benchmark.

Clinical Career

Following his residency, he practiced in the plastic surgery unit of Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital from 2015 to 2021, one of Istanbul's most prominent university hospitals. In 2021, he briefly continued at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine at Medical Park Göztepe Hospital. Since 2022, he has been a plastic surgeon in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Lokman Hekim University Hospital in Istanbul, a JCI-certified institution.

Surgical Volume

Throughout his career, Op. Dr. Yaman has performed over 1,500 rhinoplasties, over 1,500 breast augmentations, over 500 facelifts, over 1,000 abdominoplasties, and approximately 1,000 liposuctions, a significant portion of which using VASER Lipo technology. He currently performs 500 to 600 procedures per year at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital.

Everything went smoothly. The operation was a success. Communication was significantly easier when the translators were present. When I was searching for a plastic surgeon, I was a little nervous but eventually settled on coming to Istanbul because I had no doubt Turkish surgeons are some of the best in the world, and have a significant amount of experience compared to doctors in my own country.
