Oya Sisman is Head of the Hair Transplant Department at Istanbul Aesthetic Center in Şişli, Istanbul. With over 30 years of experience and more than 4,000 FUE transplants performed, she has established herself as one of Turkey's most recognized hair transplant specialists, with a 99% patient satisfaction rate. Her reputation extends beyond Turkey's borders: she has notably performed hair transplants for members of Arab royal families.

Training

Oya Sisman graduated from Istanbul University School of Nursing in 1993. From 1997 to 1999, she completed English and computer skills training at Coventry Technical College in the United Kingdom, an international experience that strengthened her ability to communicate with foreign patients. Between 1993 and 1997, then from 1999 to 2003, she participated in professional training seminars organized by the Turkish Ministry of Education. In 2014, she received training in scalp micropigmentation and aesthetic hair care.

Clinical Career

From 2004 to 2005, she worked as a coordinator at the Izmir Hair Transplant Center, gaining initial experience in a specialized environment. Since 2005, she has been a hair transplant specialist at Istanbul Aesthetic Center, where she now heads the hair transplant department. She performs a minimum of 4 transplant procedures per day, reflecting a volume and consistency of practice that is rare in the specialty.

Techniques

Her practice covers the full range of current hair transplant techniques: FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation), combined FUT+FUE, DHI (Direct Hair Implantation), beard transplantation, eyebrow transplantation, and corrective hair restoration. She is also trained in scalp micropigmentation, a complementary technique for cases of insufficient density.
