Prof. Başak KARBEK BAYRAKTAR – Endocrinology

Main Specialty : Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases. Professional Experience : Graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine (1996-2002), she completed her internal medicine specialization at Ondokuz Mayıs University (2002-2008) and her fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital (2009-2013). She worked as a specialist physician in endocrinology at Gaziantep Doctor Ersin Arslan State Hospital (2013-2015), then as an Associate Professor in endocrinology at Medistate Kavacık Hospital (2015-2018) and Başkent University Istanbul Hospital (2018-2020). She was a Professor of Endocrinology at Memorial Ataşehir Hospital (2020-2026). Currently, she is a Professor of Endocrinology at Medistate Çekmeköy Hospital (since 2026). She also held academic affiliations with Beykoz University (2016-2019) and Arel University Faculty of Medicine (since 2021).
