Prof.Dr.Nese Guney – Hematology

I had surgery for esophageal cancer in Turkey through Turquie Santé, with Dr Kezban Nur. I wanted to leave an honest review because I think it can help other people who have the same questions I had before leaving. Even before getting on the plane, the Turquie Santé team asked me to send all the tests I had already had done in France — CT scan, endoscopy, biopsies, blood work. Everything was reviewed in advance by Dr Kezban Nur, which avoided having to redo everything on arrival. She contacted me directly by video call so we could go over my case together, for her to explain what she had planned, and to answer my questions. In Istanbul, we first had a full preoperative assessment at the clinic: extensive blood tests, an electrocardiogram, an anesthesiologist consultation, and a few additional tests to make sure I was fit for surgery. Everything moved quickly, within two days. Dr Kezban Nur came to see me the day before the operation to calmly explain everything again, to check that I had understood everything, and to ask if I still had any doubts.
